We had such a great time at Royal West Indies Resort. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained throughout. I loved that the property was right on the beach. The food at Pelican Bay restaurant was delicious as well!

Phenomenal, quiet place with a beach that wasn’t ever overcrowded. Would return over and over. If you’re into boutique-like hotels, this is your place.

Property is in good location and the units are well stocked and designed. We like that it's quiet and restful ambiance. The staff are great and want to thank them for being helpful and friendly special mention to Sherman & Elexie who gave us tips & recommendations of the facility and surrounding area! Pelican Bay restaurant is also recommended - great food and nice staff.

Just what we needed . Nice quiet resort that was gorgeous inside and outside. Short walk to the beautiful blue waters and beach chairs are plenty.

The staff were friendly and I loved the conveyance of the beach access. The only issue i had was my room was not a beach view room. What I paid for, and what I received was misleading. Instead, I had a pool view.

Beach and water nice. Pool mediocre restaurant mediocre and pricey. Staff service mixed some beyond excellent others can’t be fired soon enough. Location isn’t great have to take taxis to a lot of the restaurants. Island is nice but government taxes and very highly priced restaurants make it poor value.

Plenty of towels but limited to 4 washcloths. It was six people in our 2 bedroom villa. I thought that was odd. We requested more. It felt like they were being rationed out. It was quiet on the resort. Very peaceful. Staff very friendly and pleasant.

Stayed few days with my wife, the whole experience is 3 stars at best, property gardens are nice but stagnant water at times smells fowl . Lots of lizards small and BIG if you're not a fan beware. We loved them. Beach is beautiful but boat traffic is way too close to shore to swim safely unless you stay in the very limited corded area in the water which therefore gets crowded at times. Front desk organization is a nightmare : extending our stay 1 day turned in to a never-ending task with multiple phone calls ,vague comunication several mistakes and delay, harassing phone calls demanding to show up to front desk again when they forgot to ask for credit card (when finally did extend stay ) even though it was the same card used for check-in . The whole thing ate in to our vacation time and we did not appreciate it. Rooms are nice, spacious with big balconies fairly clean, bathroom and kitchenette showing some age though. So we won't be returning but if you get a cheap enough rate i guess it could do the job. People were overall nice. Bartender didn't wanna be there, never a smile and I saw him giving attitude to a colleague in front of everyone..not the best energy for those who are on vacation trying to relax and forget the stressful life back at the office .

Royal West Indies is very nice. The rooms need updating. Appliances have rust on and in them. Time to start replacing them. Very tropical resort. Great beach Please update rooms to keep us coming back

This is such a beautiful property, the staff was super helpful and kind. The washer and dryer was a plus! The bathroom could stand a remodel in the ocean view rooms. We saw a roach (Rodney) in the drawer with the utensils and that was a turn off. The foods and drinks were top tier!! Overall I would stay again!!!

Loved everything about RWI. The only cons would be it’s too far to walk to center, which meant a LOT of money spent on cab rides, and the couch in living room was so uncomfortable that when we had down time, everyone stayed in their bedrooms. Staff, restaurant, grounds, beach, were all perfect!

I don’t usually post reviews but our experience at this hotel was not great and I’m really surprised at all the wonderful reviews. We arrived at the hotel in time for check in to find the air conditioner in our room was not working. We were not able to access our room until late evening (at which point we were exhausted). We requested another room but they said there were none available. The manager gave us vouchers to the restaurant on the premises to make it up to us. The room was infested with mosquitoes. The internet didn’t work for 2 days (no tv and no computer). My daughter got food poisoning from the restaurant. When my husband requested to use the bikes offered at the hotel to go to the market to purchase Gatorade for my sick daughter at 5:55 the manager at reception was rude and nasty and told him he can’t use the bike because at 6pm the bikes can no longer be used. When he explained the situation (that my daughter is sick) and that he will be back quickly she nastily told to take a taxi (for a 2 minute ride) showing zero humanity. The staff was ill informed about where and when to go places, sending us via taxi to a closed restaurant. Some of the staff were super nice especially Sheldon and a few were absolutely awful especially a manager who told me her name was Jeanne?. When asked in the last day if we can extend our checkout by 1 hour she was extremely rude explaining that they can not. No offer of you can keep your suitcases etc that most hotels offer. Awful

This was our 5th time staying at Royal West Indies Resort, and the 1st time bringing our kids and grandkids with us. The 2 bedroom condo with ocean view was just perfect. Can't say enough about this beautiful place! The staff is wonderful, the grounds are meticulous, and the beach is stunning. We'll be back!

Small quiet resort. Very safe. The staff is very polite and friendly. The rooms are clean. The pillows require an update. Only one restaurant with bar. The food is acceptable but expensive. Cocktails are 14- 20 USD, a glass of wine is 15 USD, a bottle of beer is 8 USD. There are excellent restaurants around, steps away from the resort, except Aziza. The supermarket is 15- 20 min walk away. The prices are triple compare to US. The beach is exceptional, with white sand and blue shallow waters. Long walks along the deserted beaches of the Grace Bay were fantastic. Watersports are free except parasailing. Overall our stay was excellent.
