We came in at 6.30pm and asked if we could eat in the restaurant. We hardly was allowed dinner as they were closing down. So we rushed through dinner and generally didn’t feel very welcome. Beds were poor and rooms felt very old. And it wasn’t even very affordable. Not coming back. "

The rooms were all different and comfortable, and the dining room and great hall / game room areas were perfect for our group of 13 to hang out and have a few drinks while the kids playing a couple of games of pool. "I was there for my birthday. The facility was lovely and historic. Room was huge with pretty view of the city. Breakfast buffet was good with a big selection. Only thing was they didn’t make my birthday special. Just gave me two tiny chocolates lol. With all the money spent there they could have atleast given me a slice of cake. I had breakfast and dinner there, nothing not even a welcome fruit platter. They sure have no idea to celebrate :-("
