"Quiet and comfortable, we stayed 2 nights for a bike race in Augusta, WI. Only negatives was no breakfast, but they did have coffee in the room and in common area. They could have given us more bottled water, as there were 2 in the room when we arrived. But, we did ask for more for the 2nd day and were given 2 more bottles. Otherwise, front desk was helpful, but only available certain hours. We kept our bikes in the room and requested the fist floor, and this was convenient. We actually got the handicapped room, the last one on the first floor by the side door of the property, so it was convenient for us!"

"This cabin was very spacious and clean! It had towels and kitchen linens as it listed and everything we needed for cooking from pans to utensils! Enjoyed fishing at the pond-taught our 3 year old Grandson to fish and caught lots of bluegills and crappie! Plenty of wood was waiting for us for a fire for grilled hotdogs n smores! Great experience! Would stay here again! Been there before for a graduation party at the shelter! Huge playground to keep kids entertsined!"

"Shower was just a dribble, possibly a clogged shower head. Igniter on BBQ didn't work and we couldn't find ay matches at the property. Other than that, it was a great place to spend 3 nights."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lovely Rural Hixton Farmhouse. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and were even better than described. The farmhouse is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were wonderfully communicative, and we especially appreciated the surprise sโmore fixingsโa delightful and memorable treat! We highly recommend booking a stay at this farmhouse."
