I returned home feeling recharged rather than tired, which is a rare and welcome result of a vacation. Dining & Drinks The culinary experience is a highlight. While they don’t serve a traditional "Tico" breakfast, the healthy options provided were excellent and gave me plenty of energy for the day. Honestly, there is no need to head into town for lunch or dinner; the food here is some of the best in the area in terms of both quality and cost. For those who enjoy a drink, the bar is well-stocked with a great variety of liquors and a consistently cold supply of beer. Service & Amenities Service: The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Whether I needed a lighter or specific food requests, they were attentive and professional. Cleanliness: The room cleaning service was flawless. The Beach: A short, easy walk from the hotel leads to what feels like a private"

"This place is great: very conveniently located walking distance to the beach and airport. The room was clean and had air conditioning and WiFi. You could see animals right out the door including an iguana in the garden area, scarlet macaw flying overhead and a sloth down the road. Great price. Will be back! "

"We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC. But fans, electricity is by solar panels, so its limited. Area is amazing and beautiful, lake nearby and kayaks, horses. NICE place into the jungle. "

"There is no way this is 3.5 star and it is very expensive for a small motel room. Cold water shower (despite it working for a couple of seconds) Owner has a pack of dogs that bark all the time - they locked them in when I complained but were out barking again at 6am It says it is inclusive of breakfast but they didn’t provide it and said it was a mistake So really poor but the little restaurants nearby were great and I probably had the best meal so far, it’s also a great place for spotting parrots and toucans "
