This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. What an incredible place! We spent five wonderful, relaxing nights here. The studios are great for a couple. The view (and sunset) is beautiful. We were looked after so well. Highly recommended.

Beautiful villa property. Sympathetically renovated. Fantastic staff who looked after our every need.

I was more than satisfied with my choice of hotel and it was exactly as illustrated on the website. I would stay here again and recommend the Dona Maria Hotel if you're looking for a comfy, well-positioned and friendly place to stay.

This hotel is perfect for a relaxing break. The breakfast is great and the staff are friendly. The views are amazing too.

We had an excellent stay.

The hotel is very new, opened end of April 2017. Very clean hotel The staff are fantastic.

The room was stunning. Plenty of parking and the room was very clean on arrival. We did find one odd feature but managed around it, the toilet door was see through which we've never seen before.

Overall hotel was cleaned shame that staff wasn't welcome at all except a gentleman on breakfast who was amazing with us. The lady on the reception who seam to be from management team was on phone talking load on phone by the reception about person issues whitch l fpund not profissional as that could be discussed in private room

Maravilhoso!! Todos os detalhes bem pensados e super child friendly. Pequeno almoço delicioso, vista linda do mosteiro, piscinas grandes e espaçosas! O espaço de criança tem muito brinquedos e tudo limpinho! Muito obrigada por tudo! Esperamos poder voltar brevemente!

We had a perfect stay here. The staff were absolutely charming and so helpful and friendly, anticipating needs and helping with queries/ bookings, even providing some masterful help with a tricky chess move! - we felt totally spoilt. Even the taxi firm they use has great drivers who give excellent tips on where to visit. The hotel itself is newly refurbished with great facilities and decor. You can see how much thought and care went into making it comfortable and stylish. Sao Martinho itself...
