"Such a beautiful location right on the water. With stunning views of the coast and a black sand beach within walking distance, this hotel was the perfect start to my first time visiting the Azores.
Staff was excellent. Pool was wonderful as well as location.

"The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. Very clean location, this is the town that I was born and as always people are very nice and will go out of their ways to make people welcome. "

"Great location. Easy walk to the village and see all the sites of Furnas. Enjoyed our stay. Thermal pools were a plus being on premises and both indoor and outdoor pool. "
"Really great place to stay! When we checked in , had pizza snack as a welcome treat! Location was super and walkable to the marina and historic areas and lots of restaurants all around. Staff was very friendly and great breakfast that was included . Would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Breakfast was fab and the ladies were so friendly and cheerful. Loved the room and the pool. Free parking was a short walk away but easy enough to bring the car round for luggage. Would book again without hesitation. "
"The location was very convenient, and in a truly beautiful spot.
The convent is a clean and beautiful place. The view from my room to the courtyard was very pretty, and the breakfast was good. The last day, two ladies even brought my breakfast to my room without me even asking- I thought that a very thoughtful gesture.
The staff were all lovely, with only one exception- the manager, who I believe, owns the place. I am disabled, and overheard her making a joke about me and disabled people to her staff,which, in addition to being completely non professional,put a real damper on the entire stay.
I asked to meet with her for a few minutes ( I was going to dicuss this)and she agreed .
She never showed.I waited 2 hours.
Other than the discriminitory behavior of the manager, the stay was very nearly
perfect."
