"Hotel says 5 star could be argued as lower , needs updating , 80's decore , air-conditioning in room didnt work first night, couldn't leave door open for the patio cause it didn't have a screen ,second night they sent a repair man to fix air-conditioning, mildly better but not great . Parking not on site off site, bad directions to get there. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel . Great beach and pool. Staff wonderful. Awesome location"

"This hotel is heaven. The staff were super helpful and lovely. The beach was amazing. The food was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean. The spa was fantastic. I had a massage and facial. My only comment would be that the bakery/cafe by the pool stay open later. I was a solo traveler and I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay."

"The pool area is outstanding. Loads of sun bed. The staff were all great especially the reception staff they were so friendly and genuine. I decided to switch my package to all inclusive once I’d arrived. The quality of food and drink is really good I especially enjoyed the different breads and salads available in the restaurants. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to visit again."

"This is a magnificent place to rest, relax and enjoy the fabulous scenery on the property. Its paradise!! I can only say wonderful things about the owners and the staff. "My husband and I had discovered Prainha Clube on a walk to Alvor years ago. We fell in love with this area and we are so happy that we were able to stay there this time. The location is perfect. Incredible views and access to the most spectacular unique and parts of the beach and an easy walk into Alvor. The only negative would be no pool/beach towels. I understand that people don't return them and the cost to launder them. I suggest that you charge a rental fee that is partially returned when they return the towel. A win win for everyone. Or you could have a shop in the hotel where you sell towels. You need a towel for the pool and beach."
