"This is a well staffed and professionally operated property. Buffet breakfast with many options. Restaurant serves lunch and dinner. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Service and Wait staff also excellent. My only complaint is that building is old and in need of some maintenance and upgrades. But having said that, I would happily return to this property."

"The hotel was modern and very clean. The front desk staff and the concierge were amazing, they were very friendly and responsive. The location is excellent, you have shopping right next to the hotel and there's another mall almost across the street. The view from the room was great, I had a great view of Guaiba Lake. We paid for valet parking and it was worth it, never a problem. Just park in front of the hotel and turn in your keys. I highly recommend The DoubleTree Hotel in Porto Alegre. I will be staying there the next time I visit Porto Alegre,"

"This is a love motel and should not be part of the Expedia experience. Dead cockroaches on the floor, people screaming, reeking of cigarettes and no sheets on the bed. I did pay for insurance and they would not give me my money back had to file a claim now with Expedia. "
