"Hotel PortoBay Santa Maria is a gem. Location is perfect, right in a center of Old town, close to cable to the Monte Palace and Mercado. We had an ocean view, which was a nice upgrade. Breakfast has everything you can imagine with a very attentive staff and beautiful atmosphere. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Live music in the evening in a bar area. I would greatly recommend this hotel to the future visitors f Funchal."
