"A really nice place to stay within Cape Breton. The rooms were spacious included a separate living area with couch, table, dining space. Well maintained. Considering the remote nature of the location The staff were kind enough to provide free water bottles. The location is beautiful, truly feels like far away from the city life."

"This room was so cozy and had so many thoughtful touches. It felt like the owner would want to stay there! Extra towels, cold drinks in the fridge, unlimited nespresso pods and to go cups!! It made the perfect stay for my husband and I. Also located right in town, short drive to all the main spots. We especially loved the private balcony! Would 1000% recommend!"

"Elegant old property with hometown charm. It was kind of like staying at my grandmotherโs house, warm welcome, great room filled with heritage furniture, and the grounds are spectacular. Will stay here again."

"Room was super clean, staff was very friendly, everything was in good shape. The view from our little patio was gorgeous. The beach nearby (Margaree Harbour) is the sandiest we saw on the Cabot Trail. The breakfast, although not included, was delicious and well worth the price."

"Rooms were functional. No charm except in common areas. Never changed the towels ( there 3 nights). Never came in the room to straighten up. Dinners were excellent. Good choice of wine. Breakfasts were adequate. Not special. Limited information about surrounding restaurants or places to visit except from brochures. No walkable areas"

"The Chiticamp Outback Inn is a short (5 min) drive from the center of Cheticamp, close enough for convenience but far enough for amazing tranquility. The rooms are modern and comfortable and there is a washer and dryer on-site if needed. Definitely recommended!"

"Nice and quiet radio free environment surrounded by breathtaking beautiful mountains just next to the cottage. Very large space in front with trail leading to nearby river. Very nice and welcoming host as if we had known each other for long. If you are looking for an escape from the stress of work and city life, this is the right place for you. I would love to go back if I could."
