"We booked and paid through hotels.com but when we got there they didn’t have our reservation and we had to wait a long time to get it figured out. The room smelled like wet towels. "

"There was no nightstand, no bedspread, and the balcony light stayed on all night, which made it feel like daytime. But the young man’s kindness was excellent."

"Clean, comfortable, friendly, and a great location. Karla was a fabulous host, her breakfast was so delicious with fresh Ecuadorian fruits, eggs and bread. The grounds are beautiful, lovely pool surrounded by lush local gardens and indigenous pottery. Our cottage was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and ample storage space. We had a fabulous 5 nights, thanks to Karla's hospitality, lovely weather and the Pacific Ocean just across the road. "
