Breakfast was fresh but very limited options. It was end of the season so that was probably a big factor. There is only a pool bar and no where to relax in the hotel if it is a rainy day. Again, I am sure this is only because of the time of year we went. We would love to return to the hotel when ...

Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Mia Beach during your trip to Loiri Porto San Paolo? While you're in the area, stroll along the beaches.
I would recommend car hire from Sixt at airport, it was so easy and far cheaper via Expedia, but don't add any extra, just be firm as they are very pushy. loads of hidden gems just around next corner so explore, but not excursions as expensive.
