Great location and easily walkable to all sites. We were on 3rd floor which had a small balcony overlooking the church and square so was great to sit out and watch the world go by. Goid size apartment with everything you need

The apartment was lovely with big windows and a great view of the streets. Very clean. Easy to walk to a supermarket and a block from the Majestic cafe and shopping. Parking is ina public lot about two blocks away. You check in at a hostel and everyone there was very helpful.

Very clean, spacious and has great views. The location was in the center of the city so when you get tired from walking all day, it was easy to go back to rest. There is a flight of stairs you have to take before getting to the lift but it wasn’t really a problem for us. Also, we had to check in at their main hostel because we were early but it was only a 5 min walk to the apartment. Had a very warm welcome from one of the members of their team who took us to the apartment and gave us recommendations. Very easy to communicate with them via whatsapp if we had any questions or problems. No problems with their wifi! Fast and reliable. Reviews talked about noise as it was in the city centre but it didn’t bother us at all! As it was on one of the main streets, there are shops and cafes as soon as you step out of the main door. Will 100% be staying there again if we are back in Porto!

I love my stay at The Porto Cinema Apt. The place was immaculate, had everything you need, with a beautiful view on the balcony.. i would definitely stay here again, and recommend this place.

Very clean and great location in the center of the city with good shops and restaurants/cafes nearby. Easy to walk anywhere. It was a little loud at night and early in the morning though. Porto is lovely.

Very clean and I was lucky to get my place earlier then what was check in. Very central to the city area. Very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only negative is that the room was cool (winter) but no heat in room.

I had a great stay in the corner apartment - it had everything I needed in the kitchen, was very clean, and there was a lot of natural light. I had an issue with my card when I checked in but they were very responsive and came within minutes to fix it.

Great location, but a few drawbacks
Both amazing and not so good - Excellent location to downtown, very walkable, friendly staff, cozy and cute room with great views, and everything provided that we needed. They washed our laundry for 6 euros, but we did have to walk about 5 min to their main office to drop it off and pick back up. Not a big deal though. The things we didn't like - uncomfortable beds. Noise from person above us. The streets are quite noisy till about 5am, especially on weekends. People shouting, singing loudly sounding drunk (we wondered if a club was somewhere nearby). When we ordered food, we had to go downstairs to meet the person. There's a decent flight of stairs before reaching the elevator, which was difficult climbing with heavy luggage on wheels paired with an uphill walk from the main office where you check in. Overall, we'd stay again, but with good ear plugs and less luggage.

Great little apartment, only complaint is the 2 flights of stairs to get to the actual elevator - difficult with alot or heavy luggage, and also with my mobility-impaired mother. Just more information on that aspect in the hotel details would be appreciated so there are no surprises. The staff is wonderful!

Excellent clean property, felt like home, nice location, public transport walking distance. Only downfall, be careful when u use toilet, our toilet door got stuck middle of the night, no one could fix it until 9AM, but they gave key to another apartment in the morning, could not use toilet overnight.

Fantastic studio in great location
I really loved staying at Porto Cinema Apartments! The gents who checked me in at the hostel were most helpful - thank you! (It’s a short but uphill walk to the apartments from the hostel). The studio I was in looked just like the photos - spacious, fairly new looking decor, well equipped kitchen with appliances & pans, glassware, etc. My room looked out over the square at the front of Santo Ildefonso church, I loved hearing the bells in throughout the day (9am to 7pm over summer). You hear a bit of street noise but with the windows and shutters closed, it blocks out a lot. The location is fantastic, it’s a short walk to: Sao Bento train station, Batalha where the No.22 tourist tram starts / ends, lots of food options, a Minipreco supermarket, Praça da Liberdade where a lot of walking tours start, Cafe Santiago for the best Francesinha (the beloved Porto-style sandwich), shopping on Rua de Santa Caterina. I’d highly recommend staying here and I would gladly return.

Great central location and apartments very clean and comfortable. Ideal for short break but stairs to first floor could be tricky with cases etc. There are lifts to the upper floors.

Location is ideal, apartment was comfortable, staff were lovely. but the noise from the people in the apartment above me spoiled the stay, the screaming children and banging that sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling started at 5am and didn't stop until after midnight!

Relaxing stay
Very central, stairs up to lift steep not easy with cases if older. For breakfast you had to go to another building a block away! They said they would order a taxi the next day for airport non arrived. Fortunately we found a taxi rank not far away, better to have told us where the taxi rank was.

Check in time Super late. And you need to carry your luggage to another building and wait till 4pm to check in. If you carry large luggage, better dun book this apartment as the lift was not working when we stay there. We need to carry luggage up and down about 3 sty high.

Regarding the check-in hour, the same is announced on every communication between us and our guests since the moment our guests book with us, even on the different booking pages that we work with, the check-in time is always present and visible. Property was in a historic building in central Porto and close to many popular tourist attractions. The unit was clean and it was great to have a separate living space and kitchen. Reception is in a separate hostel 2 blocks away. There are stairs when entering the building and up 30 steps to get to the elevator.

Fantastic!
Amazing apartment, me and my partner took my parents for a trip and it was a great place to stay. We had the top floor and it was a great size, plenty of space whilst feeling cosy still. If I go back to Porto I will stay here.

Nice apartment. Clarify checkin process in advanc
Apartment is new and modern, and has everything you need. It is in a central location within walking distance to most attractions. Checking in was a big hassle. You have to check in at an affiliated hostel two blocks away. Cars cannot stop in front of the hostel. Overnight parking is in a third location a block away. Perhaps the owner should suggest customers to go straight to the parking lot, park the car and then walk to the hostel for check in. Another downside is that the apartment is next to a public square where they held a concert till 11 pm. Unless you like heavy rock music and don’t have to go to bed until midnight, the concert is a nuisance. Overall, it is still good value for the price.
