"I definitely recommend staying in Porto de Galinhas over Pecife. It is a beautiful beach town and Recife is a large. unfriendly city. Positives: Great buffet breakfast with many options Very supportive and nice hotel staff Pretty courtyard Easy beach access Negatives: Very far from town center (40 minute walk or 20 BRL cab ride), which meant I had to spend money to reach the town center because it isn't a safe walk at night No hot water for shower Bed was not too comfortable"
