We are working on getting the heating/cooling system upgraded so each room can set their own temperature. As you mentioned, we are on a busy and very cool street. Glad you found the earplugs. Hi Daniel. Thank you for this terrific review and welcome feedback. We definitely learned a lot this summer with the AC unit. We did notice the vent was not open in your room, so that probably contributed to the problem. And we are also undertaking a project this fall to make it possible for each individual room to set their own temperature (with individual units), so that should help a lot. I think it might relate to the music across the street at the cafe/bar. There is occasional music played as we are located on a busy bustling street. This can have it's upsides and downsides, which is why we provide earplugs and sound machines for those times the street is a little more lively. :-) Please visit us again soon.

I'm so sorry, I wish I had more control over third party websites. I don't want people to show up surprised. I will make sure I write a note to folks about being conscientious about others having to use the bathroom. I apologize you weren't able to shower. Our website clearly indicates the hotel is on a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops, because that's what we love about our location. :-) However, I wish we could write a paragraph on third party websites indicating this also, so people are prepared.
