"The breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant. Only complaint was that we didn’t get the room that we paid for. I paid for a terrace and mountain view but got a small window overlooking an inner courtyard."

"This hotel is a gem if you want a slow weekend in the country. This area is stunning. The hotel is so charming, the hotel is situated right in the middle of the horse stud in beautiful historic buildings. There are birds everywhere so just lovely place to relax and listen to them. Rooms were lovely. I came with two young children and the indoor pool is the best we’ve been to. The pool was a perfect temperature and the room was heated so quite relaxing. I took riding lessons which was a highlight. Every staff member was so friendly and kind. We stayed on the property almost the entire trip but did go to marvao castle which is spectacular and a can’t miss. "
