Lovely little village with magnificent views across the water. Only drawback is that there isn't a place to eat dinner, since the closure of The Clansman restaurant.

The room was huge,bed was comfortable. Shower was warm. Except for the rain, we liked Newton Steward.

Excellent, convenient location to stay during the Wigtown book festival. Particular highlight being the friendly, informative staff. We were delighted to experience the delicious Scottish breakfast each morning, ingredients sourced from local farms.

We has a 3 night stay in this clean and well presented caravan. It is in a very peacefull locarltion, 7 miles from Dunluce. The facilities at the park are the best we've ever stayed at! Pub with entertainment, restaurant that does take away, soft play barns, swimming pool, water park with inflatable ...
