Awful experience. No idea why this hotel has good reviews. If your room is upstairs you need to lug your heavy luggage up a couple flights of stairs because of the lack of an elevator. I think after our experience, the lack of an elevator is a good thing because it would have definitely malfunctioned. The room we were given had an awful wet moldy carpet/sweaty foot smell. The carpet needs a good deep clean or a replacement. The paint on the bathroom door was peeling off. The lock on the bathroom door was broken and unusable. Not great for a family of four sharing a room. The bathroom itself smelled faintly of a sewer. The water in the shower only got warm, although my husband said it got hot when he took his shower. The bed was very firm and springy and my husband and I woke up sore. The real kicker was trying to do laundry in the coin operated washer and the button on the coin slot was broken. My husband talked to the front desk and they either couldn't or wouldn't help. S outta luck, pretty much. So for the first time in our hotel experience, my husband took our detergent covered laundry and washed it by hand in the bathroom sink. Then we used the dryer, which didn't completely dry the clothes the first time and needed another dollar to finish the job. The only positives were the stocked room that had enough towels and toiletries and a fridge/microwave, the A/C was nice and cold, and the breakfast. Not a vast amount of options but enough to get you fed. Avoid this place!

The room was small, but adequate for 2 people. It was clean, but not spotless (vinyl floor was a bit sticky). The continental breakfast was okay... just what you need to start your day. The lady looking after the breakfast area was very friendly and polite.

Took literally 30 minutes to check in. They put me on the second floor because they didn’t have any rooms on the first floor and there’s no elevator. Breakfast selection was extremely lacking. This is one of your last resort type motels.

They’ve tried to give the property a face lift with new paint and some new furniture but it is still severely outdated. Shower glass door didn’t close well. Bathroom door was a janky sliding contraption. King bed took up entire room. Sort of mildew/moldy smell. We ended up checking out an hour or so after checking in. It was at least clean but not where we wanted to spend a rare kid free weekend.

I didn’t have a good experience. The door wouldn’t open to my room. The manager was very kind and came to help, but the handle had to be forced down every time I came or went. There’s no elevator which was not advertised during booking and made it hard to carry luggage and small children. There were tons of people loitering in the parking lot smoking cigarettes even though it was non smoking. The advertised hot breakfast is bagels and a toaster. The shower looked to be in complete shambles. It felt dirty to shower in with peeling pain and exposed ceiling and smudged shower doors. The room was filthy with dirt, candy wrappers, stains, smudges, and general grossness. We left early. The manager was very responsive when we wanted to check out early. He refunded our 3 remaining days and informed of construction as a contributing factor. I imagine he would have offered to move us but I had no interest in staying there.
