Finding the Fairfield Inn was difficult. The view of the hotel from the road is blocked by a building and signage for a competing chain. Traffic patterns in the area are confusing and frustrating. Once we found the hotel, we were happy to find plenty of parking, an immaculate facility, and a friendly and helpful staff. The room is comfortable and well furnished. We are pleased to be staying here.

Pillows too hard. Dirty Wet facecloth hanging over the Shower Curtain from previous tenants. Sticky night stand from previous tenant. Also Marriot policy of having only the NEWS on in the lobby goes against every HOTEL RESTAURANT MNGT class ever. CNN is propaganda and not suitable for entertainment of people on vacation and weary from travel. Guest checkout stated that MARRIOT policy is they can only have the NEWS on. Nothing else. Won't be staying at a MARRIOT again ever.

Beware using 3rd party Hotels.com
I travel frequently for both biz and pleasure. Most hotels including Marriott which I have Bonvoy awards I consistently get a less quality room or handicapped room when using my Holetl.com rewards.. I was told being a 3rd party user they will not change rooms despite my objection to a handicapped room. One other objection is to the large number of non-English speaking men congregating and smoking outside the side entrance late into the evening. Nice hotel, great breakfast spread.

Unfortunately, you booked a handicapped room through a third-party and because all of the non-handicapped rooms were booked as welI, we were unable to make any changes. We also have a lot of construction in the area, and the men you saw were relaxing after a long day of work. English is their second language. They charge for pet fee without disclosing it before you book. My booking was non refundable so I couldn’t cancel either. They blame expedia for this but they should make sure it’s clear before you book.

I noted that you made your reservation through a third-party, so I regret that the pet fee policy was overlooked, because it does appear on their website. We take pride in having a newer hotel and take pleasure in making sure our guests are happy during their stay. That is the reason for the pet fee - it involves a more extensive cleaning process. Many people are allergic to pet hair and dander, so additional cleaning must be done to prepare the room for the next guest. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Bugs in bed and worst customer service ever
It started off well - friendly check in. When I pulled back the sheets to get in bed, there were numerous “bug parts.” They looked like bug legs. I called down and the young woman who was friendly upon check in was no longer so friendly. She told me I could come fine and get done sheets to make the bed. I told her I was a guest at the hotel and didn’t feel it was my responsibility to change the sheets. She moved me to another room (I was exhausted after driving and had no desire to change sheets or rooms). When I went fine for the new room key, she didn’t speak to me. Very rude. There was no “I’m sorry there was an issue with your room.” No customer service skills. The worse part was the next morning when I was checking out. I started to mention it to the man at the desk and he interrupted me and said my name. He proceeded to tell me that housekeeping had inspected the room and there was nothing in the sheets. That they were completely clean. I tried to tell him I didn’t understand his that could be and tried to show him the pictures I had taken. Time and date stamped the night before-clearly after I had checked in and before I switched rooms. He REFUSED to even look at the pictures and ARGUED with me, saying I was making it up. I was shocked. The customer is WRONG! Honestly, it was the craziest and worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I paid good money to stay at this hotel, had dirty sheets, and I was the one who was treated with disrespect!!

Superb and dog-friendly too
This is an every year special when I drive my father & his dog down to their Winter nest in Florida. It’s a great one. All kinds of reasons too. The front desk was so friendly. We came off a three hour, brutal traffic jam and she was so welcoming and warm. I can’t tell you how much of a difference she made. And the hotel is always just perfect. A professional place.. the rooms are excellent. The breakfast is all you can ask for from a hotel of this type. I’ve stayed in so many of these kinds of roadside hotels and I like to think I’ve learned the difference between the good ones and the bad ones. This is one of the really good ones.

This hotel is located near I-95very convenient location if you are traveling. It is very modern with well appointed and comfortable rooms. Pets are welcomed for an extra $75 fee. Breakfast is included and is excellent. The customer service is great too! Excellent place to stop for a long road trip.
