"The hotel has fantastic views on the harbour and close to Cala Rossano Beach. Also close to town and archeological areas. The hosts - Signora Maria and Signor Antonio - are great and try to accommodate different needs. The restaurant is excellent and the views on the terrace superb. Mr Antonio will wait for you at the port and will allow you to leave your luggage so that you can take the 5 minutes walk to the hotel without having to carry heavy luggage around. "

"Meraviglioso posto vista mare, una piccola chicca da non perdersi se vi trovate a Ventotene, hotel che si affaccia sul mare con una vista mozzafiato, sono rimasta ore e ore a osservare il mare, per poi risvegliarvi la mattina con un ottima colazione dei campioni, ottimo cappuccino e la frutta che non manca mai…ci tornerò "

"We loved our stay in a suite for 3
Nights. The hotel grounds are gorgeous with flowers and lit paths and our suite was incredible. The thermal pools are lovely ( the swim caps take some time to get used to for non Italians). The hotel shuttle we booked was bumpy and I would not recommend It. The driver spoke no English and we had to sort a way to figure out where he was parked at the airport. Then when we arrived at the port, a driver put our luggage in the truck, demanded a voucher for the transfer to the hotel (which we did not have) and then took our luggage off the truck and left us at the port. We texted the hotel and someone else came and got us. He proceeded to loudly make fun of my family to the other passengers in Italian and dropped off people at random locations before we finally got to our hotel. Not what i was expecting for 55/pp premium transfer. However, the pool bar staff and Vickie at the front desk were outstanding and made our stay awesome. I was worried as the hotel doesn’t communicate through Expedia (how we booked) and via email demanded I pay a deposit via a link. I refused and the hotel staff didn’t seem to know about the emails so their website may be easily compromised. The hotel isn’t close to restaurants or shopping however the bus system is easily accessed. The beach is accessible by a path or shuttle from the hotel."
"Loved it here. Rooms were basic but clean. The pool area was amazing!!! Several pools and all were kept nice and clean. No bugs no mosquito bites.
Breakfast was wonderful options along with great service!
I did have some wifi issues on the 3rd floor but they moved me to the 1st floor. They said there were some issues beyond their control that few days.
Great location for restaurants and transportation!!
Would definitely recommend and I would love to come back.
Family owned and service was great. Very friendly and helpful!"
"We booked it as it was rated very high with positive reviews. In reality it is a mixed bag with some positives and some disappointing things as well. Our room was called a "Superior", however there was nothing Superior. No coffee machine, no kettle, no iron, not even a complimentary water. Instead, it was just small fridge with drinks. I was explained that fridge is reserved for "pay for" drinks and that own drinks will incur extra charge.
Breakfast is exact same every single day and very basic, definitely not 4 star level.
Dinner is for set price only and all drinks, wine is extra. So, if you want just a glass of wine and local fish it is not possible to order. Instead, you are charged 35/40€ pp for all you can eat type of dinner.
Location is nice and clean though with nice views. Staff is friendly and helpful. It just is a pity that few little things and their strange terms weren't to my satisfaction."
"If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not for you. But if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay that is affordable, you can’t beat it. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed!"
"Every aspect of the hotel was outstanding except the fine dining which was appalling. We had better food on the flight over. Some of the courses were genuinely inedible. This despite a restaurant with outstanding service ambience and wines. Mezzatorre seemed to not understand that their guests understand what quality meals should taste like and how they should be presented."
"We just returned home after 5 nights at Ravino, after visiting Venice and Rome. This was the perfect, beautiful, and relaxing end to our two week Italy vacation (me, my husband and two daughters 23 and 20). The grounds are breathtaking - a desert garden labor of love that you can get lost in. The views are equally breathtaking. The location is perfect - about a 20-minute walk to town or the the beach/thermal gardens or easy bus access. If you prefer a private taxi, they will happily arrange it. The staff act as your personal concierge service if you would like - recommending exactly what you are looking for. Upon the recommendation of Jasmin, we spent at day at Maronti Beach at the property of Restaurant Ida - accessible by a bus or taxi to Sant Angelo and then a water taxi to the beach frequented mostly by locals. It was a special day we will never forget.
Jasmin, Lucio, and (owner) Luca were incredibly gracious, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you all for your hospitality and charm :) We look forward to visiting you again."
