"I see a lot of reviews that bemoan a worn-down hotel with threadbare carpets or cracked tile. I feel those reviews, but I also consider how much it costs to update things that people break, even in your own house. This hotel was perfectly serviceable and it was very affordable when I needed it. The bed was comfortable, it was relatively quiet for a downtown area, and the location was great."

"It was a wonderful relaxing stay much needed after an Excursion filled cruise. Grounds and Manor House were 2nd to none and staff were so hospitable and nice. Want to give Shout-Out to Pia who made 2 trips to our room to help w/Streaming and Merika and Julia at the Spa restaurant. All truly memorable!"

"Great location on the main square in downtown Lahti. Supermarket right at the corner and restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable room with kitchenette. really convenient laundry room on top floor. The only thing that was frustrating was not receiving clear information about checkin. Apparently the code they send you for your room door is the same code you are to use to enter the building but the email we received didn't say that so we had to scramble to reach someone to figure that out."
