Overall ok. Seems like they raised rates for holiday weekend. Pretty clean. Breakfast average. Lighting in back parking lot quite low - could use more or brighter lighting back there.

If I had to get picky, then the elevators were the only thing I could find wrong with this hotel. They were extremely slow moving between floors and opening; and the cables made high ping noise and popped as you moved up and down floors.

We stayed here for two nights to view the solar eclipse in Poplar Bluff. We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean, quiet, well-kept-up, and convenient. The staff was extremely helpful. Other than the fact that we had to pay a higher rate because of the eclipse even though we booked months ahead, everything was top-notch!

This property chose to gouge everyone that stayed here over the eclipse. While a room here would normally run under a buck fifty- it is Poplar Bluff in the middle of nowhere USA, they chose to gouge and charge three times that a night! Really? Unbelievable! No extra amenities, nothing! Did they forget they are just an average Hampton Inn!?!? With a parking lot full, there is no doubt they made their entire years revenue over this one weekend, but shame on them. Nope!I have Zero respect for this kind of locally owned business. Would not recommend.

Terrific stay! The room and bathroom were super clean and spacious. I always wish the bathroom would have a fan, and the elevator had some creaks and weird sounds. But besides that, it was lovely. Great breakfast too!

I had a group of 10 rooms, we arrived late, and yet it was the fastest check in ever. They had our names and keys ready and gabe us waters at Hilton members...were literally done in less than 3 minutes. Kind and helpful staff!

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. We were in town for a family get together and was very pleased with our accommodations. Our room was very clean and well stocked with towels and personal bathing items. The staff at check in was a very nice young lady who was very knowledgeable. During our checkout the desk clerk was very personable and wished us well upon or departure from the property. All in all an very nice location with wonderful staff.

I stayed at Hampton Inn because a friend said they were pretty consistent everywhere he's stayed. I paid quite a bit more to stay here and wasn't really impressed. This hotel wasn't anything special, I have stayed at other hotels that had the same quality room and service at a much cheaper price. Everything was clean, good room and bed and breakfast was great. I was satisfied with the stay .

Pleasant stay. Just for overnight. Hotel was quiet and clean. Room and floors in room were clean. Lately our stays at other hotels have had sticky residue from cleaning products in bathroom floors and dirty carpets that are vacuumed clean but filthy and need shampooing. Thankfully everything here was clean and no sticky cleaning product residue.

Overall very nice. Breakfast was ok. The block out drapes in my room did not close all the way leaving a 3” stripe of bright light. Hard to sleep with light shining in your eyes. Mattress was too firm for me a side sleeper. Bath tub was quite shallow, making it hard to take a relaxing bath.
