"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

"The room assigned was split on two floors with the bedroom on top floor and the bathroom and shower on the ground floor. Hotels.com did NOT show this and even advertises this room as “ground floor” room. We would have NEVER booked a room with a Spiral wooden staircase. Not acceptable. One window in bedroom that only opened 1 inch. Poor experience overall. "

"WOW, I can't say enough! If you want a perfect place to use as a home base for exploring bretagne, this is it. This second floor room is spacious, clean, safe and comfortable. The living room is tastefully decorated. The location is on the edge of a small village a few kilometers from the highway, close enough to be convenient, but with no traffic or noise. "My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

"A beautiful, French farmhouse is a lovely quiet location. Breakfast was served early to accommodate our ferry crossing and local restaurants recommended for our evening meal. The hosts don’t speak English but that wasn’t a problem and we’d definitely stay there again."
