The hotel is a nice hotel with a great location in Pontevedra, but the desk staff was really helpful...or even remotely friendly. I've traveled in Europe enough to know and expect the differences from service in America. I don't expect the staff to fawn over me, I don't actually want it, but don't be rude. The lady at the front desk was downright rude. I wouldn't stay there again, simply for this reason.
Just a 10 minute walk from the station if you don’t have much luggage and very close to town, the Galicia Palace is a clean hotel with attentive staff. I’d have preferred a bath as opposed to a shower but a quiet room and a comfortable bed made up for that.
Only thing i did not liked was the fact that they charge extra at breakfast for scrambled eggs or natural orange juice , about 3 euros each , this after paying for breakfast together with the accomodation...

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city.Nicest bathroom too!
Couldn't fault the staff. They Very friendly spoke everytime we walked through reception.
Food was good at breakfast. Even though we left breakfast late on a couple of occasions we were never asked to leave and staff always checked before taking the food away as to whether we wanted more.
Rooms were a great size. We were a family of 3 and there was ample room along with a large bathroom.
Great location easy walk to everything. Train station only 10 minutes away. Short walk to shops cafes the Basilica.
Superb base for exploring a stunning area. A Coruña, Vigo, Santiago de Compostela. Great comfortable room to come back to.
It was ideally located within walking distance of the train and bus stations as well as the popular sites. There were supermarkets and restaurants nearby also. The hotel was very clean and my room was spacious. It was a short stay but there were basic amenities provided. Enjoyed my night there.

We stayed at Galicia Palace hotel during our Camino. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They sent us to a marvelous restaurant for lunch. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great. Meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, cereals, torta, all very nice.

Excellent hotel for the price and location. Very clean and quiet. The most valuable aspect is the courtesy and dedication of the staff. Particularly the people in the cafeteria. They do everything possible to satisfy your desires.
Great Hotel, perfect for exploring the town for many hours and then coming back for lovely food & drink before settling for the evening in a nice room.
Recommendation for anybody like myself that was away on business work for 4 nights.
We were on our way to Santiago de Compostela it was a quite pleasant stayed. The personnel of the hotel was helpful and very service oriented. The room was clean and a good size very. Comfortable.
Well located for both the downtown district, restaurants, and the "old town."

Handy for the centre of Pontevedra
Good hotel - very handy for the centre of Pontevedra and the 'old town'. Car parking is a pain and cost 13 euros a night (if you can get a space). Breakfast a bit minimal- the standard continental. Staff really nice and pleasant and the room was clean.
Great location just 5 mins walk to the centre and old town, 10 mins walk to the railway station.
Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is OK but a trip to one of the many bars offers more options at a lower cost.
I have stayed in the hotel when we were doing the pilgrim way ( camino de Santiago) but we wanted to stay in nice hotels as reward of long hours walking during the day. We got upgraded to a suite. Even though we were not upgraded the hotel, location, price was excellent. The best hotel f my stay in Galicia
