Facilities were great with little touches like sweets on the pillow. Room had clear damage/marks on the walls not repaired and the service was mostly average with one breakfast at the buffet were we didn’t get seen to at all and had find servers ourselves. Hotel facilities and options were great.

Great spot for visiting Madeira, lovely and tucked away in the mountains with local shops and restaurants near by. Funchal only 28 mins car journey away. Room was super clean, air conditioned, great bathroom, fridge, owner was always on hand to help if any issues.

Lovely quiet hotel

The Quinta could do with a lick of paint and new carpets but if you are able to see beyond that this place has a great deal going for it. We didn't have a car for our week there and frankly didn't did one. The Quinta has a free minibus for trips into Funchal which we used twice and saved us a fortune on taxis. Me and my husband have stayed there for 4 nights and I can't say a single bad word about the hotel. The room was amazing, stuff very nice (we even got a packed breakfast to take away because we had to leave early!) and the view from the room's balcony is priceless. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Rooms are super nice and modern and very clean. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfast was good. The pool area was an added bonus. It was just a shame the bar was not open for drinks. They did have a phone service but it took time to receive drinks. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect - there is nothing that could be improved

We really liked this hotel. We arrived before check-in time but our room was ready, clean and comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers and lots of clothes hangers which isn't always the case. As we had left home at 3.30am we were ready for an early lunch and although the restaurant didn't open until 12.30 they were happy to serve us something at 12.10. Madeira is very hilly and to go anywhere from the hotel requires a steep climb up to the main road, this wasn't a problem for us, and...

I stayed at the Savoy Signature from the 7th to 10th October. The hotel is immaculate and the room size is perfect. A special thanks to Jessica Abreu who decorated our hotel room following my proposal to my girlfriend. I would happy stay again!

Its difficult to find superlatives that match the enjoyment we had at the Albatroz. Its a stunning location and everything was right from the check-in to the check-out. The staff at the Hotel have a value set and desire to provide service that is matched only by 5 star establishments, and in my estimation this certainly is a 5 star Hotel. We plan to return, and frankly cant wait to do so. Go and enjoy!!

Quirky decor. Excellent staff, friendly and extremely helpful. Very well situated to explore the city with all amenities within a few minutes walk.

Recommended for sport lovers that like to spend their time engaging in sports, enjoy an old style small hotel with excellent service. Average guest age fairly high - comfortable hotel around 25 min from Funchal.

We stayed at the Quinta do Sol for 7 nights, for our honeymoon. It is a lovely modern hotel, with plenty of lounge areas, both inside and outside the hotel. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, and there are lots of options to book day trips at the reception to explore the island.
