"We have been to Betws many times but have not stayed at a hotel. Familiar with the Royal Oak, we decided to stay in a superior room with breakfast. Expensive but worth every penny and exactly as described in marketing material. The only thing that was a bit troublesome was the TV reception (BBC only). Lovely people, great hotel, excellent breakfasts - perfect week. "

"A very good overnight stop before catching 9am ferry as foot passengers to Dublin. Free parking. We intended to take a taxi but were warned about their reliability and availability. We booked the long stay Stena car park at the passenger terminal through Just Park at £19 for 2 and a half days, probably the price of a taxi. Just 7 minute from hotel. Very nice meal in the Bay Restaurant and an excellent included breakfast. Breakfast service starts at 6.45."
