"On a trip with my son to visit the beaches of Normandy for D-Day as well as Mount Saint Michael, St-Malo, was perhaps one of the closest villages. It also had the peace and quiet of the countryside yet just within a 45 minute drive of all of these beautiful historic sites along scenic country roads. "I am writing this review as we are driving away, and I’m sad to be leaving! We only stayed one night and it was far too short. This was the mid-way point in our France trip (fantastic location for visiting Mont Saint Michel), and our one peaceful night in between city-center stays. It was amazing in every sense. The grounds and chateau are meticulously kept and just beautiful. The breakfast (made up of items you self-select upon check in) was abundant and delicious. We stayed in the triple room and it was incredibly spacious, including a huge bathroom with a spacious shower and amazing jetted tub. The hospitality was also unmatched and greatly appreciated. We loved sitting in the grand salon reading and playing cards before check out this morning. We all left feeling full of peace and gratitude. I have no doubt this will be our favorite stay during our trip. Thank you so much!"
