This was one of my worst experiences that I’ve had. For a hotel that was priced higher than everything else and on the beach I expected more quality. First, the buffet breakfast had cockroaches walking around in the food

Not worth the price!
The Promenade Hotel location is perfect as it is right on the promenade in the French Quarters. The hotel is 15 years old and is very dated and needs some serious renovations, considering their room rates. Amenities were of very poor quality and i had to ask for the hand towels to be replaced as they had black marks on them. The other issue is the noise factor as a result of the proximity to the promenade which goes on till very late at night. On the other hand, the staff is excellent, attentive and very helpful. On the whole a bit pricey for the quality of the property. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
