Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. We arrived late on Monday evening and were able to get a seat at the rooftop bar to have a light dinner and drinks. The entrance to the hotel is dramatic, like something you'd see in an art gallery. The rooms are clean, smart and stylish, with great bathroom amenities and soundproofing. Beds were firm, which not everyone might enjoy, but we had comfortable and quiet nights' sleep. Would definitely return the next time I'm in Bordeaux.

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. Can't really fault this hotel. Reception staff and restaurant /breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English if you can't speak French as well. Stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor facing the main road. Although there was passing traffic you couldn't hear a thing due to the triple glazing. This is our second time staying here, can't be happier. Our 2nd time is just as good as the first time if it's not better. The room is perfectly decorated, small but charming. Fantastic location, very quiet but close to the city centre.
