Beautiful hotel with excellent food and great spa

I am 80 years old with considerable experience of hotels and taking all aspects into account this excellent hotel is one of the very best. Taking account of value, it is the very best. This is an amazingly well designed conversion from a traditional warehouse overlooking the river to a superb hotel with modern lift and very excellent breakfast. Easy walking distance to the City Centre. With the best staff you could imagine. I shall return.

The first two nights were dreadful as the room overlooked a children's play area which was a meeting place for drunken loud youths until early hours of the morning. When we moved to a room at the front we were able to sleep and began to enjoy our stay. The staff are pleasant, very helpful and accommodating. The waitress at breakfast is particularly gracious. Lovely little boutique hotel in a great location less than 10 mins walk to the main old town street. The adjacent island with many great restaurant options is even closer. We felt welcomed by the staff from the moment we arrived until we left, and they helped with anything we asked. The room itself was immaculately clean and cozy, with the only minor being it was quite dark especially in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold options. We received a warm welcome at this hotel, which is superbly located on the seafront in Binz. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent and the bar was pleasant. The pool and spa facilities were very good and you are also able to book beach chairs on the hotel’s private stretch of beach. This is not a part of Germany that is popular with the British, which probably added to its charm. It is a hidden gem.

Excellent service all round

Great facilities, the room super comfortable and clean, re-fillable water bottle to use was fantastic (the water fountain was on the lift landing). Sauna and gym great. Breakfast was excellent. Great for a short stay close to airport.

Following the blue lines on the airport floor brings you ti the hotel in 5 minutes. As well as being convenient for the airport it is also next to the bus station. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. Immaculate hotel.

As a couple travelling from England on a Long Weekend Break we decided to try somewhere a bit different!!! We narrowed our destination choice to Poland and Rather than a normal city break we decided on Soport. Further research made our choice of the Sofitel Grand Hotel an easy one. What a fantastic Hotel. We had a really lovely stay. The suite was perfect for our family. The room was large and comfortable. Parking was great, the hotel was close to the old town and was very well located. The restaurant and room service also very good. Would recommend.

Very nice hotel located approximately 3/4 mins walk away from the airport. Hotel itself is very well maintained, bedroom was spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and sufficient for a bite before a flight. Overall, for the price paid, would recommend hotel to anyone needing a nights stay near Gdansk airport.

What a beautiful hotel, big, spacious, clean and very grand. So impressed. Staff were amazing and so helpful. What a lovely place to have as our base to explore the city. Right next to the train and bus station. Walking distance to the old town and for exploring. Would definitely return.

Nice, comfortable hotel in the centre of the old town. Rooms are modern and clean, the rooftop bar is nice and breakfast has a great selection.
