"We used the Hotel Venere as a bed and breakfast base to cycle around the Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite. The hotel is only a short distance from the railway station meaning that it was easy to transport bikes."

"The beach is just a 10 min walk, the water is cristal clear and the costal hiking way a nice mixture of history and nature. We stayed here after visiting Paestum (short drive)and after a warm wellcome we got a very unique pizza to taste. "A true gem. A lovely boutique hotel in the old town of Agropoli, overlooking the Celento Sea, within walking distance of the port, beach and the Castelo. Antonino and Lea at reception were very helpful, provided info on the area and answered our questions; as was Antonia who served us breakfast-you could see she really cared to do her best in the job. Overall a wonderful hotel, with style, great location and great service. "
