The good, the bad and the ugly. Staff at the front desk were fun and helpful. Housekeeping staff were hardworking and quick. Dining room staff were disorganized and inefficient. To the defense of one server, he was constantly being called for diverse tasks, which confused him substantially. He was trying hard. Very disappointing was arranging a taxi to the airport. We paid full price, only to find that our group of two was squeezes into the taxi with another group of two that we didn’t know. The worker from the travel side saw an opportunity to make double the money, and did not offer any forewarning or checking to see if this was ‘okay’ with us. I didn’t appreciate that maneuver.
But rooms were spacious, desk staff enthusiastic, and showers outstanding (rain shower from the ceiling). Despite my criticisms, I would go back…but knowing who to count on and when to seek services elsewhere.
