Ibis Budget Hotel
Apart from bedside lamp not working and a toilet seat needing to be replaced as chipped, the room was to the normal standard when we have stayed here. Would always like a bathroom mat but this is a budget hotel so... Be aware that there are a number of people hanging around outside so make sure your valuables are out of sight in your car. The adjoining ibis hotel has a good restaurant that can recommend.

The Hotel Receptionist was ignorant and rude.
I prebooked and prepaid for a room at this hotel. When I checked in the receptionist was rude, questioned my integrity, refused to accept the proof of payment that I showed her and made me pay again for the room I had already paid for. I will never use this excuse for a hotel again. Be warned, there are plenty of good hotels in Poitiers, this isn't one of them.

Not the greatest but ok for one night
not the greatest but ok for the one night we needed it for on our drive back from Spain, it has to be the worst one we have stayed in and we have been doing this trip yearly for 15 years, very dirty room, however the bed was ok, only Managed to get 4 hours sleep as I got waken up at one in the morning when a bus decided to leave which was right outside our window, staff very friendly though so not all bad

Was clean easy to find. The room itself was somewhat tired and the 'en-suite' facilities not quite as expected. Close to several places to eat and easy to find.

South of Poitiers City Centre
Very apologetic receptionist could not find the booking that Hotels.Com did themselves. In the end gave us a room and came up later with the booking. Other than that, this is a reasonable budget hotel with easy access to the N10 heading south. The biggest bonus though was the great restaurant attached to the adjacent Ibis!

Déçu par la médiocrité de cet hôtel
Je reçois un mail quelques jours avant me disant qu'il faut faire un code sur une borne check in. Pas de borne dans cet hôtel. Douche cabine comme dans les hôtels les plus basiques mais sans gel douche vide depuis plusieurs jours car l'occupant antérieur et aller dans le coin lavabo de la chambre prendre dans un gobelet du gel douche. Lavabo bouché. Un drap de bain par personne et pas de serviette donc il faut traverser la chambre chaque fois pour aller du lavabo a la douche. Aucune penderie a part un tube au mur et 3 ceintres. Aucune sécurité du parking pas de portail. Les chambres donnent sur le parking (ça va encore) les autres donnent sur un hôtel "migrants" avec beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à tard le soir (ils faut bien qu'ils s'occupent !). Même un F1 est plus luxueux ! Pourtant même groupe je crois ?
