Hotels.com did not explain how the free airport shuttle service worked. What I needed to do was to get in a taxi and tell them where I wanted to go and the hotel would pay them with a voucher. What I did was stand in the cold and wet waiting alongside the other hotel shuttle services for about an hour and then had to call reception at the hotel to find out what to do. Everything else worked well.

Sensational and stylish new B&B in a delightful village. Incredibly helpful and interesting owners. Only point to make is that the beautiful breakfast is extremely expensive - on a par with a top 5-star hotel. It’s a near theatrical production in a breathtaking setting but you may not want to do it every day of your stay. It’s a small quibble. We’ll be back.

We found the Fairfield an excellent hotel, very well run, clean and comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff. Housekeeping of our room was impeccable. The breakfast was generous, varied and well presented. Choosing to eat evening meals at the hotel was a good decision. We would obviously have preferred free car parking but it was at least convenient, as we travelled to and from central Montreal by a combination of airport shuttle and regular bus. We will stay in the hotel again on our way back...
