"The hotel was centrally located and the price was good. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decorations was beyond impressive. It was a beautiful hotel and our room was very nice. However, this hotel does not accept credit cards, only debit cards. And this was possibly a miscommunication but the dinner was a la carte thereby costing much more than expected. The restaurant is also beautiful The wine and food were good but the service needed improvement."

"This was a beautiful boutique hotel. Built over Roman baths, the hotel was designed with an architectural flair that accentuated its location history. The owner greeted us regularly and provides a morning tour of the ruins. The location is great and Plovdiv is a must see city."

"Excellent staff at the front desk: one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I have ever stayed at. Biggest downside of hotel is that people smoke either in the rooms or on the balconies and the smell of cigarette smoke enters the rooms."

Let' us check in ridiculously early and we were able to stay an extra night when our onward travel plans fell through. Nothing was too much and we are so grateful to them. "Room was on top floor. Lovely view. Spacious, clean and quiet. Gorgeous building too. There is a coffee machine, fridge and microwave. Only thing missing was plates and cutlery which would have been handy. Also another chair in the double room would be nice. But this is picky. The room was splendid and within walking distance to everything."
