"We had a car. Not sure how convenient would be if only public transport to get into Nantes which is 9.2 k away. Lovely conference hotel. Staff fab and room lovely. Only niggle would be only access room from 4.00 pm but you can use the pool so only little niggle. Breakfast would be nice if set up rather than large round table where you have to get your own cutlery and food on a tray but again just a small niggle"

The tiny kitchen area is good for heating up food that you buy at the convenience grocery nearby. Donโ€™t pay in advance for the sub-par breakfast; crowded and slow on busy days. Go to the Cafe des Plantes around the corner! Itโ€™s misleading that they advertise a gym: a tiny room with one bike, one rower, and no weights or bar. Iโ€™d consider staying there again...

"Beautiful property with an outstanding restaurant. Service was fine, but at times, it lacked the details youโ€™d expect from a 5 star hotel., such as taking your luggage to the room or replenishing toiletries daily. The hotel is in the outbuildings of the chateau next to it and it can be difficult to locate initially. The main access is through the golf course area which isnโ€™t very impressive. I would return to this hotel and recommend it to friends."
