After reading reviews booked a two night stay & was very pleased that we did. Very welcoming attentive staff. Lovely modernised period building, in a perfect position to explore the old town. Excellent generous breakfast.

The room, shared spaces and breakfast room were beautiful, the staff were fantastic and answered every question, including booking taxis for us, and the breakfast was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

A great hotel with the usual aspect of the old theatre and cinema still there. The hotel is also perfectly positioned for strolls into the town and to the sea . Great views from the terrace. A good selection at breakfast

Loved this hotel - greeted by friendly staff and offered a drink as soon as we arrived which was very welcome. Rooms totally unique. Lovely sitting area up on top patio to relax after a long day - staff kindly made us a pot of tea when our tea bags ran out with bone china tea cups!! A drink on the main patio (which was where you could have breakfast too) overlooking the sea under vines was a great way to start the evening where we met some lovely people each evening. Beautifully quirky with so much space- right in the center of everything

Fantastic location and a really beautiful room with excellent facilities and a comfortable bed.

Staff were excellent; all were very helpful and professional. The rooms were spotless -although not perhaps as large as in more modern hotels. It's a fabulous old building which is full of history and is well maintained as are the grounds and the swimming pool. Breakfasts were good but the quality of the serve-yourself coffee from a machine left much to be desired. If you want a better quality one just ask a member of staff to get one for you from the machine in the bar. The restaurant food was...

Very helful and friendly staff, good location with a lovely sea view room. Breakfast is taken in the partner hotel opposite, which was nice. Parking is available in the nearby car park (very difficult to enter)

We chose this hotel as it is right in the middle of the archaeological area of Syracuse. It's away from the touristy Ortigia so there aren't as many restaurants close by, but breakfast is excellent and the hotel bar is no pricier than the local options. All the serving staff speak good English (our Italian is sparse) and are attentive/friendly/helpful/hard-working. We spent many evenings on the roof with the pool and bar. This hotel was amazing. Excellent value for money, fantastic room and exceptional staff. Great location. Fabulous breakfast. I think it is quite small but had the feeling of a grand hotel. Stay there!

Breakfast excellent, with hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff are very friendly. Executive room was very clean.
