Playa Bonita Trip

Everything was great.room was spotless.staff was always smiling and saying hola. Especially in the buffet dining and 24hr bar. I am already planning a return vacation in September.

Overall we had a great time. We stayed here for a full week and loved the pools, the spa, the beach bed setup and the beach itself. We had the VIP wristbands but needed to be "members" to eat anywhere else on the resort which is massive. So with just the buffet, the food was very medicore. Also, nothing is explained to you about what you do or don't have access to on the property which is difficult, you have to ask a lot of questions. The beach area for VIPs had a sushi bar which was VERY good so I ate that for the most part. A big disappointment was that the whole week we were there, our shower was very cold and sometimes didn't even turn on at all. One night the power was out and we were all eating in the dark. Another minor issue was our room did not come with a TV remote and we requested one about 5 times and never got one. Besides those issues, rooms were clean and everyone working was super nice. If you stay here, walk down the beach and you'll find some guys in a shop that you can book excursions through, I recommned using them since they are local guys and will take care of you your whole trip! Room was large and had a coffee machine but it could of had a better layout as TV was in the bedroom not the living room Staff were friendly and accommodating Drinks were awful unless you just had a rum and coke/sprite or vodka and water there could of been more seating around the bar area Food was adequate

The room was cleaned every day and the staff was very friendly with great service. Our room was on the 2nd floor above the bar and restaurants which was convenient, but could be loud at times. The people in the green shirts were relentless in wanting to sell you a membership. They weren't happy when I told them no. We were able to take a cab to spend the day at the Wyndham Heavens but liked the Viva Tangerine beach better.

My room was always very clean, thanks to Amparo. Food at the Batey restaurant was great.
