"The hotel is in a good position for the beach at Gexto and for the ferry port. Parking is free but the carpark gets full as the bar restaurant is very popular. The breakfast is good. A slice of delicious tortilla, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice 5.10€. We would be happy to return "

"Very friendly front desk - we are English speaking only and they went the extra mile to make sure they communicated with us. Walkable to the beach and views of the river were beautiful. Bed was very comfortable and night time was very quiet. Great food and drink options in the cafe. Just a great place to stay"

"Great location right on the beach, and close to some places to eat. Good eco credentials. Breakfast choices could have been a little better and perhaps a few more staff. Also would be worth letting guests know about parking before hand, we didn't know we had to reserve paying in the car park, but in the end on street parking using the app was really easy and cheap. Maybe some printed instructions that can be given to guests in the relevant language would be worth looking into."

"Pasemos solo la noche la habitación estaba muy cómoda. Le faltaba algo de mantenimiento a la ducha del baño. El tema fue como llegar, el navegador nos llevó por detrás por un camino que cada vez estaba menos señalizado y que en la noche parecía que llevaba a la nada. Igual el hotel está alejado pero el camino que va por el frente es mejor. Y la vista del mar es fantástica."

"The owners have done a stellar job of remaking an old 'palacio' into a modern hotel in a charming Spanish town. The rooms, the layout of the hotel, the staff were all tremendous. Our only regret was that we were not able to stay longer."

"The Hotel Branka is lovely. The people running it are extremely nice and kind, and the welcome very genuine. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and as described in the details. There is a nice little bar and a shady terrace. Breakfast was fairly basic. The harbour in the village is lovely, and just 2 minutes walk away. Parking in Mundaka is challenging to say the least. The streets are very narrow, and much of the parking is residential. As we left, we saw a larger, slightly out of town...

"The hotel is OK for a one night stay in order to take the ferry next day. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable enough. Unfortunately it is right next to an oil refinery which polutes the atmosphere. On a very warm night we were unable to leave the window open because of this."

"Perfect small hotel in a wonderful location. I know there are some reviews stating people couldn't check in. We had no issues. We communicated once we landed in Spain our estimated ETA. Olats at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She gave us maps of the city, suggested sights to see, places to eat, and even gave us tips on transportation around Bermeo and to San Juan. "Ariel at the front desk was wonderful and the Hotel was very convenient to the airport. We had to leave at 5AM just a few minutes before they started breakfast so I can't comment on it. Vending machines, restaurant, bar onsite, all with convenient hrs. Great rooms, bathrooms (Love Dove products), and a hotel we would definitely visit again!"

"Great welcome to Bilbao! Efficient shuttle service from the airport, eventhough the hotel shuttle was unable to transport my bike. No problem, a taxi handled it well. Check in fast and friendly. Room is new with cofortable bed and good shower. Next morning the gentleman at front office arranged for taxi service to accomodate my bike to the bus station in Bilbao. Great extra service, thank you! Highly recommend this hotel!"
