"We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. "The staff were all wonder! And the breakfast in the morning was fabulous! Room was simple, but quite small. I was alone and still seemed to use every space for my stuff. I got the single room though, so keep that in mind. Hotel was in a great location 5-10 min walk to main part of the old town and right on the old harbor(obviously) would definitely stay there if I go back to Chania!"
