"Authentic hotel to stay at. Beautiful. Note, there is a lot of seaweed so you can’t go in the water. Well you can a little on the left hand side. There are a lot of waves. I saw a couple go to the pier and jumped in for their daily swim. Also, the price for diner or anything you purchase at hotel from spa to food or anything else, it’s US Dollars. "The property is very beautiful and well taken care of. The staff was incredible from the front desk to house keeping and taxi drivers! The Placencia offers transportation in town and arranges pick up for fun stuff to do as well.i will definitely stay there again! The locals are great people! Super friendly and accommodating! I love Belize and their people!"
