"We had an absolutely incredible experience at this beachfront hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully taken care of. The views were stunning — waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunset from our balcony was pure magic. We have to give a special shout-out to Jose, who was truly amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was perfect. Whether it was offering great local recommendations, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, or just being incredibly friendly and professional, Jose made a huge difference. His genuine hospitality stood out and made us feel right at home. The rest of the staff were just as wonderful — attentive, cheerful, and always ready to help. Our room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. We also loved the beachside restaurant; the food was delicious and the atmosphere unmatched. "Ray Caye Island Resort was a little slice of heaven for us! My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary and stayed in the honeymoon suite l, which I would highly recommend for its privacy and amazing view. We had our own private splash pool, and we were steps away from reclining by the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. The drinks and food were delish! The excursions were awesome! The best snorkeling I have ever experienced, and the fishing was so fun, including catching a record size barracuda! We could socialize as much as we wanted but also have alone time. This was definitely a five-star experience and worth every penny! Next time we're bringing friends and family!"

"The best of both worlds! This property is stunning, and it really offered the best of both worlds. We were able to experience resort-style amenities and service, while enjoying the space of an AirBnB. Our suite was huge and gave us ample room to enjoy ourselves. It was nice to be able to cook some meals in the suite, although they could definitely stand to upgrade their kitchenware. The pool is huge, and we really enjoyed the swim-up bar. The restaurant sits right on the water, and we were really impressed with the food there. The service is top-notch from the bar to the housekeeping staff. *A note about the location: Placencia is a lot bigger than I realized. This property is in an area that is mostly just resorts and a handful of restaurants. A little further South is Maya Beach, which is quite nice. If you want to actually visit Placencia Village, it's a good 20-30 minute drive. So this is the perfect location for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. But if you want to be in the heart of Placencia, go further South. "
