The place needed a better upkeep, showing signs of wear and tear. The gentleman in the front desk was very professional and deserves to work at a more refined establishment.
We enjoyed this hotel very much. We purposely found a hotel with a hot tub but we didn't use it because it was always loaded with kids. It would be nice if another hot tub could be installed for adults only.
The front desk people were excellent. Courteous, kind and helpful. I was at the hotel for a large conference and they handled everything perfectly. The restaurants were decent and waitstaff were wonderful
The customer service in this hotel was terrible. In the middle of the night, our toilet overflowed spilling water onto the floor. I turned off the water, but had to use our towels to clean up the bathroom. Te maintenance man came promptly and fixed the toilet and said that he would notify housekeeping to replace our towels. After contacting the front desk, they stated they would bring our towels to the room, as we could not take showers before an appointment we had. We contacted the front desk many times and they told me they were out of towels. It took nearly three hours to receive towels and we nearly missed our appointment. I will consider other options next time as I frequently travel to Pittsburgh.
Amazing stay, only thing I had an issue with was the prices. I was fine with the prices of the bar drinks l, snacks, waters, juices, but the breakfast buffet really shocked me! Other than that no complaints...
The lady that checked us in was nice.
The room we picked was still dirty. So we had to stand in line and check in and try to get everyone that was with us on the same floor again. Very time consuming.. the room we was put in was dirty. The hot tub was broke, it was very cold. Staff was rude when we asked about getting it fixed. Not enough towels, room phone wouldnt call housekeeping for more.. the only thing that worked wqs the check out option on the app. Very disappointed for a hilton hotel.
We chose this hotel for a volleyball tournament with my teenagers. The halls were noisy, and smelled of smoke and marijuana. We had three towels given to us for a reservation for 4 people, and our air conditioning in our room did not work properly. The entire stay was uncomfortable.
We were in a room when the heat stopped working in the middle of the night. We went to breakfast to let the front desk know. When we came back it was still cold in the room and the phone in the room didn’t work. Called the front desk with our cell phone and they said “we’ve been trying to get ahold of you.” Bottom line: we had to move rooms and was given $40 food & beverage credit for our inconvenience. They were nice but the heater in the new room was very noisy at times. Oh well. Live and learn.
Great room. Great staff. The only issue I had was with the television. I was there for 5 days and would have liked to been able to log in to my streaming channels but the TV was outdated. I travel to Pittsburgh 3-5 times per year and this is a deciding factor on which hotel I stay in.
