"We arrived at the Terrace Inn and Suites at 2:20am after a long ten-hour drive. It was so nice to be greeted by a friendly person in the office! He seemed to genuinely care about us, and I really appreciated that. Ours was the last room to be filled for the evening - it was full to capacity. There was one parking space left in the entire lot!! We had a terrific night’s sleep, and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Granted, it’s an older building, but we were provided with the necessary amenities. It was quiet, and there were room-darkening drapes in the room. We’re on a 3.5 week cross-country trip, and the Terrace Inn and Suites was one of very few rooms that had a refrigerator which included a freezer. The fridge and microwave were exceptionally clean. The only odd thing we found was that we couldn’t turn on our air conditioner. There was a note to “set it by the thermometer on the wall,” which we couldn’t locate. So we set it and went to sleep even though it didn’t turn on. However, when we awakened at 9:00 AM, we noticed that it had come on during the night. So all was good:) Thank you for a very nice, comfortable stay, and at a price that definitely fit our budget as we travel the entire country!"
