Not a sea view
The hotel was in a great location. My complaint is that we purposefully booked a deluxe room with sea view and we were staring at a building. They need to say partial sea view so it's less disappointing. Be prepared to be looking at the museum if you book here.

The hotel is modern and boutique style. Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Beds were comfortable. Our room had a large balcony with great views over the town and Tartini Square. Wished we could have stayed longer!

To me, my room has the best view onto the Tartini square with a French terrace. That is enough for me, even if they don’t equip your room with paper tissue, no electrical kettle.

Very nice hotel at a really good location. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel and the parking is cheaper if you stay at the hotel. The staff is really friendly. The view from the balcony is perfect. The breakfast is good. I wish we could stay a bit longer...

Returning stay
We love Piran and Tartini is a very nice hotel, it was an easy decision to return to this hotel. The rooms are clean and nice though the rooms with balcony are a bit too small for the price. The breakfast is good and the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view! Highly recommend for drinks or dinner!

Nice view. However decor of property is horrific. It has the potential of being very elegant, but instead it is cheap looking. Staff were not particularly friendly or helpful.

great stay
Friendly staff and a great location, our view from the room was Tartini plaza. Breakfast was included. The only minus would be the coffee served at breakfast. If your driving you need to call the hotel for instructions for dropping off luggage and parking.

Location is good. The property is old. The paint is peeling, the floor is damaged and as a result, is uneven and hazardous. The room was very approximately 30C. There was only one air conditioner in the presidential suite - which is two rooms - which made it very hot and we couldn't sleep. We asked for a fan which we got the next day morning. Bath toiletry was given only on the first day and wasn't replaced although the supply was exhausted in the room.

The parking is complicated and not convenient. There was not WiFi on our floor and the front desk told us there was nothing that could be done and the router was under repair. There was significant mold in the bathroom.

Right in the square and heart of Piran which was perfect. Rooms were clean, hotel is very cool and modern. It had A/C in the middle of a heat wave which was amazing. Really nice breakfast as well.

The hotel is in a spectacular location. It is bright modern and airy. The double bed is very large and very comfortable. The breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an excellent position in Tartini square. The parking is difficult but manageable and to be expected as hotel in pedestrian zone. Unfortunately the hotel hosted a wedding on the Saturday night of which we weren’t advised when booking. It was an exceptionally noisy wedding reception held right near our room and went on until 3 am guests still departing at 4 am so we had little or no sleep. We were advised that we should have been told about the wedding reception at time of booking. We wouldn’t have booked there had we known. The hotel did reimburse the night’s accommodation but it didn’t help that much as we had a very long drive next day.

Right over the square in Piran, the hotel is perfectly located to see the town. I think it could be a bit noisy in the high season and the room was small, but it was modern, clean and comfortable. When you get to Piran you are allowed 20 mins to get into the town and deliver your bags to the hotel. You then park just out of the town centre in a parking garage. Worked well and keeps traffic out of the centre.

Overall the hotel was great- stylish, very clean, amazing location right on the square, friendly staff, and their free breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Our only issue was that while we loved our view looking right out on to the square, no one told us that our shutters had been damaged in a storm (we learned later), so there was no way to cover the windows. We were a couple of stories up so that helped, but we had to change in the bathroom for privacy. Anyone in adjacent buildings, on roof terraces, or on the other side of the square could see in to our room. We had a great experience here other than that, but we would have appreciated someone letting us know before hand what we were getting with our room. The woman at the desk in the morning was kind and apologized, but they were obviously aware of the issue. Maybe spend $10 on a tension rod and a sheer curtain as a backup? Just a suggestion from someone in the industry. Again, other than that, great hotel/stay overall!

Stunning property in a perfect location
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Although we didn’t use it the minibar was very reasonable. The owner met us around the back of the property and showed us were to park she the helped us carry our bags in. First impressions of the place were “wow” the ceilings are very high and the property has a lovely grand feel to it. Check-in was very simple and we were able to check in early which was a bonus. The breakfast was continental style - cereal, bread, cheese, meats etc and the host even found some alternative milk for me wife who is vegan.

The Wi-Fi was horrible, you had to stand in the hallway of your own room to get even just a weak signal. Also the Wi-Fi in the hotel was not always working. For the price you pay per night you would expect someone to help you with your luggage to your room but that's not the case. Otherwise the staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean (although not vacuumed when housekeeping came to change the sheets and towels), and the breakfast was decent.

Lovely Hotel in the heart of the town.
Our room had a fantastic view to the marina. Everything was very clean, and we had a great big bed. The decor is fun and quirky. The rooftop is great for a night cap, and to look down to the main plaza of the town. The staff was very warm and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay in beautiful Piran.

Hotel has a unique artsy style, feels newly refurbished, light and airy. Excellent breakfast included. Friendly staff. Would have liked access to roof garden, which was closed for repairs or painting.
