With new safety guidelines to adhere to, travel looks a bit different nowadays. These are some handy things to know before you get on that plane to Pinia:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as installing a contact tracing app.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA employee will require you to lower your mask temporarily for ID purposes.

• Remove items from your pocket, such as your phone and wallet, and put them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray scanning. Placing it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
