"The room was good and they meet all of my requests. The noise factor was bad. I didn't get much sleep. It sounded like a stampede above my head going on most of the night. I was on the first floor. There was also loud music outside, and a dog inside started barking around 5:30 a.m."
"The slavery paintings in the dining area are offensive and should be replaced with abstract paintings or something that feels neutral for all races. Needless to say that the paintings show blacks serving white slave owners and there are literally blacks in person serving white hotel guests. This says a lot about the owners and culture in the city that remains in a slave mentality. "
"The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The only complaints I have are the elevators were broken and I was on the second floor, however the staff offered multiple times to help me carry anything I needed, and the walls were so thin I could hear the alarm continuously going off in the other room next to me at 5am. Other than those two things, the cleanliness was amazing and the staff was wonderful "
"The house is absolutely beautiful & well kept. Our stay in the Executive Suite was wonderful! Beds are comfortable & there are plenty of extra pillows if you need. The Weeks are gracious hosts who made our stay comfortable & delightful.
