"The staff couldn’t have done more for us. We had such a mare when we arrived to San Pedro, leaving keys to our house back in the UK and having to book a last minute hotel. Thankfully we relaxed as soon as we stepped foot into Traíña. Reception staff were lovely. Allowed us to check in early, upgraded our room to a huge terrace, explained where everything was and how it all works. Made us laugh and feel so much better about our situation! "Very poor choice of menu for half board . Irish bar food of very basic standard. Inedible. Blue Terrace excellent - but a very restrictive menu for a 5 day stay. Rooms refurbished without an eye for detail . Some dated and unreliable plumbing. Water completely off one evening without warning. Drain smells . Poor bathroom lighting. Noise from room above etc Impressive public areas but lots of maintenance issues . Not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel ."
