Lovely stay at A440
We had a really lovely stay at A440. We were staying with our 7 year old, he was on a Japanese futon which I thought was slightly hard but he slept like a log so it’s obviously perfectly suitable for a child. Our bed was extremely comfortable!! From reading reviews I was slightly worried about the road up to the hotel, but our hire car had no problem with it. The hotel is in a beautiful location, outstanding views, the pool was fabulous. We walked into Pienza most days and nights, it was a great walk about 15 mins, amazing views on the last part, very dark at night near the hotel so use your phone torch. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and nice. Highly recommend staying here!!

A440 Paradise in the Heart of Tuscany
The view is absolutely breathtaking and a photographer’s paradise. Food was excellent. The staff was very eager to please. I can’t say enough good things about A440.

Just be careful in how you drive to the locale. Google maps shows one driving through the ZTL. Don't. There is another way around Pienza

This was a short break from work and it was well worth it to come here. It was the second time we have stayed here and would come back again. Very peaceful and an easy walk into the town.

We had a fabulous visit. The location is very special with sweeping views of the valley and a beautiful hotel garden with a swimming pool. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is at the hotel and although lunch and dinner service are not provided there is a beautiful 10 minute walk to reach the town of Pienza and many restaurants. We will come back again!

A440 hits the perfect note!
Our recent three day stay at A440 was fantastic as both a hotel & base from which to explore this area of Tuscany. . The hotel which only opened in June is situated just on the outskirts of Pienza . It is suggested to arrive by 6pm as it is a little tricky to find the first time but once found it's simply wonderful . A440 is Perfectly situated high above rows & rows of olive groves with breathtaking sunset views over the ValDOrcia . it is an easy 10 min walk picturesque walk into Pienza . Each Breakfast was generous & fresh with eggs & coffee prepared to order. We stayed in house for a delicious Italian dinner each night prepared by the A440 cook Kristina. A440 has a truly relaxed and warm feeling . There is a huge lounge area which offers generous seating for reading , relaxing and enjoying an aperitif before dinner. Our room opened onto a garden which we loved as it felt like real Tuscany with gardens, vistas & olive trees. There is a wonderful pool area and terrace which both provide the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the Tuscan landscape. The pace of A440 is relaxed & easy where nothing is a problem. We looked forward to returning each night after our busy days exploring the Tuscan area. It almost felt like a home away from home for us. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future. Great Stay
We were a bit unsure since this hotel does not have much of an online presence, but my wife, 10 month old daughter and I had a wonderful time here. The staff is very kind and generous. The building and surrounding landscaping are top notch. It is also in a perfect location, a short walk to pienza, and a short time between montepulciano and montalcino. The tough part is deciding between brunello, or vino nobile.

Hotel de campo surpreendente na Toscana
Hotel no campo na cidade de Pienza, que fica entre Montalccino e Montepulciano, incrível localização, infraestrutura e pessoal. Com vista para o Val d'Orcia, local muito procurado por quem procura cenas lindas dessa parte da Toscana. Tudo funcionou perfeitamente bem, desde o quarto, café da manhã, jardins, localização perfeita, a 5 minutos de carro da charmosa cidadezinha de Pienza, uma pérola toscana. Equipe muito atenciosa, ambientes lindamente decorados, enfim perfeito.

Tout est très propre personnel aimable seul bémol fuyez le SPA pas à la hauteur du service de ce bon hôtel / ressemble plus à un lieu de rencontre avec durant le massage le téléphone qui a sonné à tout moment et les clients qui frappaient à la porte d’entrée tout cela durant 2 heures ou mon masseur se déplaçait pour ouvrir Rarement vu cela

ホテルの設備も新しいし、部屋もロビーも広いのでとても快適でした。スタッフも親切で良かったです。街中からは少し離れているのでそれは仕方ないです。私は懐中電灯を持っていたので問題なかったのですが、車でなくバスで来られる方は必ず必要です。本当はもっとゆっくりしたい感じでしたがバスの時間があったので仕方ないです。5、6月が一番いいかも。

(Fast) perfekt!
Wunderschönes Agritourismo. Zufahrt ist mit Auto etwas schwierig (für Sportwagen mit geringer Bodenfreiheit durch schlechte Strasse unmöglich). Pienza ist zu Fuss aber in ca. 10 Mnuten erreichbar. Zimmer sind wunderschön.
