"The property is in a beautiful Umbrian setting, very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely, with one caveat: ours had a half-step up to the bathroom I didn't notice, so I tripped and hurt my arm -- the staff should bring this to guests' attention so they don't get hurt. Also, the breakfast needs more vegan options that aren't sweets. But a fabulous stay even so."

She happily called for dinner reservations on our velar, and even arranged for parking to minimize walking for my elderly father. This is a huge deal inside the city walls. Grazie! "We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint.
